Anyway, I was looking forward to "Streets" with tears in my eyes, and "Amazing Grace" just further magnified that... Ah, "Streets"...that song always gets me. After all, Im old enough to remember when it came out Anyway, the whole concert was incredible. Indeed, it was the biggest show EVER. It took until now to top the size of the Pink Floyd, which I saw back in 1994. It was worth the wait. I have to say that I think that they could have used their setup even better than they did—at least in the first half of the show. I think that Pink Floyd used their stage and lighting better than anything or anyone that Ive ever seen. Pink Floyd DID feel really, REALLY huge. I would like to share with you what happened to me as a result of giving this new laser skin resurfacing technology a try. My face had many, many sun damaged areasand age spots from the forehead to the neck! The fine lines and wrinkles I had were too many for me to even count anymore and I even had some varicose veins and scarring. Upon visiting an experienced skin resurfacing laser technician I was thrilled to hear about in one day, three specialized treatment, procedures called "Laser 360"! Well, I am not going to lie and must say I did have some reservations and skepticism regarding the anticipated outcome. Yet, even conservatively speaking there was an answer here that I wanted to experience firsthand for manypersonal and long lived reasons.
Now I have absolutely no intention of overwhelming you with exactly how this technology works because to this day I still don't fully understand it nor am I going to go into any other great detail, except to say; it is most definitely a state-of-the-art system that really does accomplish what I was told it would. That being said, this is what actually transpired during this approximate one hour 360 Laser treatment session. I provide the details because I was a little nervous at first and know you might be as well.
You will be laying on your back, given to wear goggles that protect your eyes from the intense pulse infra red light or "IPL" being one of the treatments used in this laser skin correction process. You will hear the "whirring" soundof the laser and air box which is somewhat comforting and cooling ... in a strange kinda ' way.
Now, the first treatment deals with skin tightening to eliminate fine lines and wrinkles. This is done by increasing the heat within your skin to high levels (I found the hotter the better regarding results). While it is hot it's NOT at all unbearable! In fact, because the laser hand piece is in constant motion you really don't feel anything other than your face getting hot toward the end of each cycle. I was given three cycles during this portion of the first treatment to achieve the desired temperature based on my skin consultation skin type designation.
The second treatment deals with eliminating the age spots, sun damage, uneven coloration (s) varicose veins and tiny just under theskin that may be considered unsightly. This is the IPL or intense pulse light portion of the treatment. Gel is continually spread on the face, neck, chest, hands or whatever area of the body is being treated during the process. You are still lying on your back at this point and will for the entire treatment because the process moves so quickly from one to the next you never even have time to get up, unless you want to.
Anyway, this phase of the IPL treatment feels a bit like someone snapping a rubber band on your skin each time the laser sends the light source to the hand piece that rides along your skin and you even hear a little snapping sound. Two passes may be required in order to adequately address the area (s) being treated. Must say it's a little more uncomfortable than thefirst treatment phase in the Laser 360 process yet not at all painful in any way.
Now it's time for the Pixel Laser or third and final phase of the three treatments experienced Laser 360 during this process. This is the tone and texture miracle skin rejuvenation everyone seeks and until now it has been very difficult to attain this fast and effectively. The laser is actually made "fractional" at this point by its hand piece which creates tiny holes in the skin which promote new growth, evenly, without invasive damage. It's really very interesting as to how it actually stimulates new collagen which yields the youthful look within about five days without downtime! OK, honestly this last part hurts a bit by the time it's complete; however, it's not any worse than putting yourself through a bad sunburn encounter for about 30 minutes ... then it just simply goes away. The discomfort is further lessened and made easier to deal with when ice cold towels are used to cool the face during the process or once this phase is completed.
The name "Laser 360" simply means you get this exact 3 phase treatment cycle described above three times over the course of 60 days. That's three, approximate one hour treatments spread out about 20 days apart from each other that results in looking years younger, eliminating fine lines and wrinkles, improving color tones and ultimately reversing the aging process. In closing I must let it be known that the first one of my friends that saw me before, during and after the treatments said without hesitation, "I can't believe it!
